What does applying mean?

We are pleased to get to know you. Our iconic bags are truly extraordinary and embody not only high quality, but also a signature mindset that has evolved over the years. We want to offer you an extraordinary experience online as this is why we will talk to you in advance for a qualified first purchase so that you feel even more at home in the iconic Borgward community. For the interview, you will be contacted by a Customer Care Advisor at an appointment of your choice, via an online service you have selected.

How do I apply?

For your application you will find the button “Apply now” on every product page, assuming you are not yet registered with us. You will then be able to choose the appointment with your Customer Care Advisor and the video call channel you would like to be reached through. Afterwards you will receive a confirmation of your appointment by email and you will have the possibility to add this appointment to your calendar.

What services are available for the online appointment?

We offer you the possibility to be contacted by your personal Customer Care Advisor via Facetime, Zoom, Skype and telephone. You can choose your preferred method of contacting you in your application process.

Where are Borgward bags manufactured?

Our bags are made of the highest quality leather and fur. The manufacturing process of the bags is done in Germany.

How do I care for my Borgward bag?

Remember to stick to the simple things: A dampened cloth cleans your bag perfectly and at the same time cares for its organic surface. Often there can be slight changes in your bags appearance. This is natural and intentional with organic materials – like leather.

Please wash your cotton accessories at low temperatures to maintain its proper fit. For cashmere products, please make sure that they are washed in a wool or soft wash cycle. Merino wool products can be washed at low temperatures in a regular wash cycle. Please make sure to only wipe your leather goods with moistened microfiber cloths.

How do I make sure my bag is a Borgward original?

You can always contact your Customer Care Advisor. He or she can assist you in checking the authenticity of your product. In general, only Borgward and Different Fashion (MR Textilhandelsgesellschaft mbH) are verified merchants of Borgward products.

What payment methods do Borgward offer online?

In the process of online payment you can choose the option of payment in advance/bank transfer. You place your order in the checkout process, and afterwards you can transfer the total to our bank account. Your order will then be processed and you will receive a payment confirmation by email. Your Customer Care Advisor will be happy to advise you on any further questions regarding your payment. Is the payment process secured? Order details are treated with absolute confidentiality. The entire order process is secured by a special certificate and therefore cannot be viewed by third parties. Internally, only your address data is used to send your order. Payment data can not be viewed at any time.

Where is the Borgward showroom?

You can find the Borgward Showroom in Mühlenfeldstraße 33c (approach via rockwinklerheerstraße 44d).

When is the Borgward showroom open?

Currently, only pre-booked showroom appointments are permitted. Please reach out to your Customer Care Advisor for a personal appointment, or contact us via the product page.

Can I book an appointment in the showroom?

Contact a Customer Care Advisor who will be happy to make an appointment with you for a meeting in our showroom. You can do this on the product page, or via mail.

What are the Covid-19 showroom requirements?

Please make sure to wear a mouth-and-nose mask when entering the showroom and make sure to keep an appropriate distance from other people in the showroom.

How is my bag shipped?

We ensure that your Borgward products are shipped to you in a safe and reliable process without exception. We have access to every shipping process and adequately protect your product by insuring it.

How are my other products shipped?

We make sure that our shipping partners and shipping procedures are entirely secure and that your products are sufficiently insured to provide you with an entirely pleasing and enjoyable experience.

Is my shipping secured?

We only ship with sufficient insurance. So that your products are insured against theft and damage during shipping.

What does shipping cost?

The items will be shipped europe-wide. For shipping costs including the VAT,

Can I get my bag shipped worldwide?
