How can I contact Borgward?

You can contact your Customer Care Advisor anytime regarding any questions that you may face during the process of placing an order, receiving your product, the current shipping status of your order and the product itself as soon as you receive your order.

How do I create an account?

In the upper right part of the Borgward online presence click on the manikin symbol. This will open a popup in which you will find the button “Register now” in the lower half. By clicking on this button you will be redirected to a separate screen where you can simply fill in the fields marked with an asterisk and then confirm your entries by clicking on “Sign up”.

How do I access my account?

To access “My Dashboard ” please log in by clicking on the manikin symbol in the upper right area of the Borgward online presence.

What to do if I lose my password?

Please click the “Forgot your password?” link that you will see when clicking on the manikin symbol in the upper right section of the Borgward online presence.

Where does Borgward deliver?

All orders placed via the Borgward Online Boutique will be shipped within Germany, Austria and Switzerland. If you live outside this area, select the country of destination in the checkout process.

How do I order online?

After selecting the product you would like to order through the Borgward Online Boutique, please click on “Add to Cart” and state the desired quantity.

You may view and/or edit the cart items at any time by clicking on the cart icon in the upper right section of any page on the website. When clicking on the cart symbol, you can confirm or edit your cart and then proceed to checkout.

Once your payment is made, a thank you page will appear with your purchase ID indicating that your order has been received. You will also be notified by email with a confirmation email.

What payment options does Borgward offer?

Borgward gives you a variety of options to choose for your payment. Aside from transferring the amount due in advance using a bank transfer – Borgward offers you to pay your order using Klarna (e.g. payment over time, buy now pay later, bank transfer), PayPal and a variety of credit card options such as Mastercard, American Express and Visa.

When will my payment be processed?

We will debit your account as soon as your order in the Borgward Online Boutique has been dispatched. You will receive an email for your records.

What are my shipping options?

Borgward products purchased via the Borgward Online Boutique are shipped to you via UPS. Your purchase will be carefully wrapped in the elegant Borgward box inside a packaging that does not reveal the package contents and will arrive within five to seven business days.

How can I track my order?

We provide you with a link from our shipping partner UPS under which you can track the current shipping progress of your order at any time.

How can I exchange or refund my order?

Please provide us with the reason for your return and your order ID for prompt handling.

What to do if I find any malfunction regarding the product?

Borgward is ensuring a highest-standard manufacturing process. This means every step taking place whilst the production of Borgward products is supervised as well as controlled to highest-production standards and checked multiple times. However, in the case that you find any malfunction when receiving your order, we kindly ask you to document these by taking photos immediately after arrival of your order. Please contact your Customer Care Advisor as soon as possible for you. Borgward Customer Care Advisors will do their best to help you in any case.

Can I get a refund for my order?

If you experience any malfunction regarding your product or feel like the product is different from what you expected it to be, please feel free to contact your dedicated Customer Care Advisor. Borgward Customer Care Advisors will do their best to help you ship the product back to Borgward Headoffice. Borgward Customer Care Advisor also can help you organize the shipping for you – as well as including a pick-up service (door-to-door shipping).

Can I book a virtual appointment / showroom appointment?

If you feel like you need to take a look at your preferred Borgward product in a video chat and/or in person – please feel free to book a free virtual- and/or showroom-appointment. Your dedicated Customer Care Advisor will give you an introduction into the world of Borgward as well as a detailed look at your preferred Borgward product.

What services are available for the online appointment?

We offer you the possibility to be contacted by your personal Customer Care Advisor via Facetime, Zoom, Skype and telephone. You can choose your preferred method of contacting you during the appointment booking procedure.

How will my order be packaged?

For secure shipment, we wrap your order in a shipping packaging that does not reveal its contents. Inside your order, you will find an elegant Borgward box, containing the product you have purchased. For shipping, we take a particular effort to ensure that your product is not damaged during all included procedures.

Where are Borgward bags manufactured?

Borgward bags are made of the highest quality leather and fur. The manufacturing process of the bags is done in Germany.

How do I care for my Borgward bag?

Remember to stick to the simple things: A dampened cloth cleans your bag perfectly and at the same time cares for its organic surface. Often there can be slight changes in your bags appearance. This is natural and intentional with organic materials – like leather.

Please wash your cotton accessories at low temperatures to maintain its proper fit. For cashmere products, please make sure that they are washed in a wool or soft wash cycle. Merino wool products can be washed at low temperatures in a regular wash cycle. Please make sure to only wipe your leather goods with moistened microfiber cloths.

How do I make sure my bag is a Borgward original?

You can always contact your Customer Care Advisor for that. He or she can assist you in checking the authenticity of your product. In general, only Borgward and Different Fashion (MR Textilhandelsgesellschaft mbH) are verified merchants of Borgward products.

When is the Borgward showroom open?

Currently, only pre-booked showroom appointments are permitted. Please reach out to your Customer Care Advisor for a personal appointment, or contact us via the product page.

Can I book an appointment in the showroom?

Contact a Customer Care Advisor who will be happy to make an appointment with you for a meeting in our showroom. You can do this on the product page, or via mail.

What are the Covid-19 showroom requirements?

Please make sure to wear a mouth-and-nose mask when entering the showroom and make sure to keep an appropriate distance from other people in the showroom.

How is my bag shipped?

We ensure that your Borgward products are shipped to you in a safe and reliable process without exception. We have access to every shipping process and adequately protect your product by insuring it.

How are my other products shipped?

We make sure that our shipping partners and shipping procedures are entirely secure and that your products are sufficiently insured to provide you with an entirely pleasing and enjoyable experience.

Is my shipping secured?

We only ship with sufficient insurance. So that your products are insured against theft and damage during shipping.

What does shipping cost?
